We all know that we should visit the dentist about once every six months, but there are very few of us who actually do it. In fact, in 2010 only 60% of Americans between the ages of 18 and 64 had been to dental clinics in the last year. Even so, there is really little evidence to support that recommendation. In any case, no one actually likes going to the dentist, but there are times when going is necessary for your health, oral and otherwise.
